Galop is London's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community safety charity. If you have experienced, witnessed or know of a hate crime incident and you would like to report it, you can do so through our online hate crime reporting form. We can report information to the Police on your behalf; your details will be completely confidential and, if you wish, you can remain anonymous.

STANCE is a comprehensive, whole school resource pack, providing school communities with the necessary materials needed to effectively challenge homophobic bullying in schools. Homophobic bullying is often present in an environment which fails to challenge and respond to homophobia. The STANCE materials can be used to train staff, develop policies, raise awareness, educate and support pupils and challenge stereotypes.
The Dyn Project is a safety planning and advocacy service for men who have experienced domestic abuse. The Project works with gay, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual men in Cardiff and across Wales and can offer a range of services and resources to assist men in abusive relationships. The Project operates two services in Wales:

We are a voluntary group of independent lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) advisors working with the Metropolitan Police Service at New Scotland Yard. We advise on and monitor police issues that affect our community. If you have been a victim of a homophobic or transphobic crime, it is important that you report it. PC Sam Tennant is Greater Manchester Police's LGBT liaison officer. PC Tennant holds Police Surgeries every thursday at The Lesbian And Gay Foundation, 15 Pritchard Street, Manchester, from 6pm until 8pm.
The LGF Helpline staff have also received training from GMP to take calls regarding hate crimes.

Crimestoppers is an independent UK-wide charity working to stop crime. Crimestoppers works for you, your family and your community. Just tell us what you know, not who you are.
Open Out is a countywide collaborative project, with the main aim of tackling the under-reporting of homophobic, transphobic and racist hate crimes and incidents. Through Open Out you can report a hate crime to the police or to Open Out's Hate Crime Co-ordinator. Open Out's website lists Open Out centres; organisations and places in the area who have staff or volunteers who have been trained to take a report from you and can answer any questions you may have.

Victim Support is the independent national charity for people affected by crime. Staff and volunteers offer free and confidential information and support for victims of any crime, whether or not it has been reported and regardless of when it happened. The organisation operates via a network of affiliated local charities, the Witness Service and the Victim Supportline. Broken Rainbow runs a confidential listening, information and signposting helpline. The helpline aims to provide a service to any LGBT victim/survivor of domestic violence.

Stonewall, the professional lobbying group for lesbian, gay and bisexual rights, provides information on the law on hate crime and Criminal Justice Act 2003. They also provide very useful resources on the incidence of homophobic hate crime. This includes Queer Bashing, Stonewall's 1995 study of violence against lesbians and gay men in Britain, and Breaking The Chain Of Hate, the National Advisory Group's 1999 national survey examining levels of homophobic crime and community confidence towards the police service.

FFLAG is an organisation of parents of lesbian daughters and gay sons which seeks to promote the well-being of lesbian, gay and bisexual people and their families & friends. It does this by providing support, through 18 confidential helplines and 11 parents' groups based around the UK, and through providing education and information (working locally, nationally and in Europe) on issues of equality for lesbian, gay and bisexual people.
FFLAG supports families, and works constructively to combat prejudice and discrimination and to help to create a society that is respectful of human diversity. FFLAG is a founder member of EuroFlag, and also a partner in the Education for All campaign, which aims to tackle homophobia in schools.

Camden LGBT Forum is a charity that works to improve life for LGBT people across the borough. We recognise that often LGBT communities don't feel comfortable talking to the police about harassment, or the Council about housing issues. We are here to act as mediators to help those affected by both homophobia and transphobia across the borough.

The Andrea Adams Trust is the world's only non-political, non-profit making charity operating as the focus for the diverse and complex problems caused by bullying behaviour in the workplace. The Trust works to reduce the incidence of workplace bullying by promoting a wider understanding of the issue and by providing a professional source of information, consultancy advice and help.

Threshold Support is a housing association that offers a range of housing, support and care services to nearly 2,000 vulnerable people mainly in South and West London and North Surrey.
Our Gay Men's Shared Housing project (GMSH) is specifically for gay men experiencing violence, whether homophobic or domestic. Started in 1995, GMSH offers short-term temporary accommodation—in preparation for independent living—to gay men between the ages of 18 and 65.
Over a two-to-four-year period we focus support work on self-esteem, assertiveness, personal boundaries, health and sexual health issues, and personal safety strategies, as well as social inclusion.

London Friend is a voluntary organisation that has been serving the lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) community for over 30 years. We exist to promote, support and campaign for the social and emotional well-being, physical and sexual health of LGB people and those who are unsure of their sexuality.
We offer counselling and support services which explore issues of relationships, sexual identity, personal growth and self confidence. We also provide support for people who are victims of homophobia. London Friend is committed to supporting our community in dealing with this issue. All our

PHACE Scotland is a charity organisation, registered in Scotland (SCO23205), providing a number of services in the West of Scotland and Grampian.
In Grampian we operate dedicated services in conjunction with Grampian Police for members of the LGBT community. These include confidential support and advice for male survivors of sexual assault and abuse, as well as a remote reporting service for people wishing to report homo/transphobic hate crime incidents. We can pass on the details of any incident to Grampian Police while allowing you to remain anonymous if you wish.
